How to do it

  1. Cross your right foot over your left.
  2. Step back on your left.
  3. Step your right foot to the side.
  4. Step your left foot forward beside it.

The thing people get wrong

Cross, back, side, together. Add a quarter turn on count 2 and it becomes a jazz box with a turn.
