Whiskey Glasses
A modern staple. If a DJ plays Wallen, this is usually the one.

Whiskey Glasses By Morgan Wallen - Country Line Dance Tutorial
Most standards have been choreographed several ways. The steps below follow this choreographer’s sheet; we credit them and link it rather than reprinting it. Their step sheet on CopperKnob
The cheat sheet
Mid-tempo, singable, and the room tends to shout the chorus. Good energy without being frantic.
The chorus is where people go big and lose the count. The steps do not change just because the volume does.
Keep your feet the same size in the chorus as the verse.
How it goes
Sixteen count intro. Two restarts, both after count 16 — one on wall 3, one on wall 6. This is the most technical dance on the list.
Sweep, weave, kick ball cross, quarter
Step back left sweeping your right round. Cross right behind, step left, cross right over. Kick your left, step it in, cross your right over. Rock left and recover through a quarter right. Shuffle forward left with a sweep.
Jazz box, quarter, shuffle, half
Jazz box crossing and stepping out to the side. Cross your left behind and turn a quarter right. Shuffle forward left. Step forward right, turn a half left, step forward right. The restarts happen here.
Side rock cross, quarter quarter, vine
Rock left out, recover, cross over. Two quarter turns left with a cross. Vine left. Cross-rock your right, recover with a sweep. Two quarter turns right.
Sweeps, sailor, quarter shuffle
Cross behind with a sweep, then behind-side-cross with another sweep. Cross and step out. Sailor step. Cross behind, turn a quarter right and shuffle forward.
Go dance this week
We do not claim to know which night plays which song. What we do know is where country dancing happens — here are three of the region's nights, and the calendar has the rest.
