Paddle Turn

Push yourself around in quarter turns with one foot.

How to do it

  1. Step forward on your left.
  2. Push off your right toe to swivel a quarter turn left.
  3. Repeat until you have gone as far as the dance asks.

The thing people get wrong

The pushing foot never takes weight. Think of paddling a canoe.
