What the night is like
A family-oriented country western dance club, not a bar night: Saturday evenings at Ferrysburg City Hall, 7 to 10, in a non-smoking, non-alcohol hall. Dances are taught September through June — choreographed couples, freestyle, and line dancing — with teaching shared among club members, Carol Chaddock on line dances among them. A $20 annual membership makes admission free, kids 17 and under of members get in free, and the club does street dances, parades and demos around the lakeshore all year.
